A story of Bartimaeus, a blind man, a beggar.  The first person to acknowledge Jesus as the "son of David."   Jesus healed his sight and said "Your faith has healed you."  Bartimaeus's first vision ever was of the face of our Lord, Jesus.  He stood up, followed Jesus immediately, even leaving his coat and previous life behind!

This Sunday was also Homecoming at the Slate Ridge Presbyterian Church and 50-year members and those who have gone to the Church Eternal were recognized.  A wonderful sermon, special music in the form of piano-organ duets were offered by Joyce Myers and Barbara Johnson.
