Finding a "king" to replace Saul.  God led Samuel to find the replacement, assessing each of Jesse's sons for the "one".  The one who is faithful to the small things, transparent, thankful, not the one who may be the tallest, most imposing, most good looking.  God's plan for the future king of Israel was David, the youngest of Jesse's son, and God's chosen "One."   God knows each of us, inside and out; God chooses us first... we do not choose Him first.  He looks at our hearts, not our talents or lack of them.  We are called by God to do His work.  God will do great things through each of us.
