To be the favorite of Jesus..... discussed by some of the disciples and even urged by the mother of James and John to let them sit on either side of our Lord.  Who, if answered honestly, is so humble that a little recognition for being "first" or the best doesn't build the ego a little bit?   We also can admit to sometimes feeling jealous and competitive.  This lesson provides many examples of being the "Pro" (Greek) who makes sure that everyone is cared for... putting them first and still coming in last (but successful that all arrived safely). Here's something else... we can all make the effort to care for someone, or maybe we already strive to put someone first one time, or every time... but we cannot even fathom the real "PRO" of all, Jesus the Christ, who suffered at the cross, died for us at the cross, made each and everyone of us "clean" and sinless at the cross.  He paid the Ultimate Price for each of us, putting each of us ahead of Himself.
